Un endemismo recientemente descrito* de la Comunidad Valenciana (España), que vive sobre dunas interiores y otros hábitats arenosos continentales, no estrictamente litorales. Su descripción original indica: Difiere del typus de Teucrium dunense por su menor tamaño, inflorescencia más grácil con cabezuelas menores, de 1 cm de diámetro, a veces con un sólo glomérulo, cñaliz más seríceo con indumento de pelos más largos. / A recently described* endemic plant from the Valencian Community (Spain), living on inland sunes and other continental sandy habitats, not strictely littoral. Its original description says: Differs from Teucrium dunense type by its smaller size, more graceful inflorescence with smaller heads, 1 cm diameter, sometimes with a single glomerulus, more sericeous calyx with indumentum of longer hairs.
